Lodi Winery Laboratory is an independent wine testing laboratory which opened in 2002 to meet the needs of the growing winery business and the home winemaker. Our services include analysis, sales of chemicals, lab equipment, fermentation supplies, process filtration equipment and supplies, as well as technical consultation.
Our primary analysis expert and head of laboratory operations is Manveer Singh who holds a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from University of California, Davis. While at UC Davis, Manveer worked in Dr. David Smart’s research lab for two years where research was primarily on rootstocks and soil. After graduation, Manveer worked as Senior Lab Technician/ Harvest Enologist for two years at Delicato Family Vineyards. Manveer also worked as a Senior Quality Technician at Gallo Family Vineyards where he was responsible for analysis and training of Lab Technicians. Colette Allen has been with Lodi Winery Laboratory since May, 2003 and oversees the bookkeeping and clerical records, sales and support. Prior to joining the industry she has been in and out of bookkeeping for various organizations for 30 yrs.
